Election woes

I remember once I was on a tour somewhere in Australia and the guide was an aboriginal man. Too many people had turned up to go on the tour. The man said "who goes home tomorrow, who needs to go on the tour today so they wont miss out?". Me and my family had got there late but we were going home tomorrow and we wanted to see the tour. Some of the people ahead of us in the queue allowed us to in front of them because we needed to go more or else we would miss out.
This is a real australian attitude. Allowing those in need to "jump the queue" because their needs are more important.
Never forget that "boat people" are people. Being from Brunswick I love multiculturalism, as it mean I get to enjoy delicious food and fantastic company.
This "queue" these nameless faceless "boat people" are jumping works like this; as long as you have enough money to be at the front YOU'RE IN! Thats not my view of how Australia is or was or even how it began, but it seems thats where we are going.
